Waiting for 2013 Verdi birth’s bicentenary … in coincidence with the Wagner birth’s bicentenary - therefore, waiitng for an inevitable effervescence of events between the major cities, such as Bayreuth and Salzburg, that are seats of prestigious Festivals - Busseto (Parma) will be the third city to be setting of a lot of events connected with Verdi and Wagner. This thanks to the partnership between the Giuseppe Verdi National Museum and Parma OperArt.
Other than the ativities linked with the Opera tradition, classic and symphonic music, the established partnership wants to rise as big cultural irradiation center, through the promotion of prose, dance, contemporary music, projections, film festivals, exhibitions and artistic performances.
The “Opera” wants to “chat” with the different art expressions that are present, through a dialogue that get Tradition and Innovation to interact between them. In this way, a new public, heterogeneous, will be catched!
