Estate Musicale Romana

It is open to all kind of orchestras and ensembles and takes place every year. It is nine weeks long. This Festival offers a range of seven pleasant and large venues to guarantee the best opportunities for your performance. The concerts of the festival are part of the official culture and music program of the city of Rome and the Lazio region.

 

Festival Ultrapadum

Since 1993, Festival Ultrapadum is one of the most prestigious music reviews in Pavia, Alessandria, Lodi and Milan provinces and one of most well-recognized in Italy.
The Festival location turns among 40 municipalities and it is organized by the “Società dell’Accademia” of Voghera, in partnership with the Music department of Target Travel, with the sponsorship of the Lombardy Region, the Province of Pavia and all the municipalities that take part in it.

 

Festival Incontri di Confine

Festival at the border, brings together 14 municipalities on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. The festival is held between the months of June and August and offers residents and tourists of these lovely regions, located in Central Italy, a varied range of classical music (Orchestra and Choirs), opera, ballet and other fascinating cultural events.
All venues are carefully chosen for its location, character, and ambience.
The municipalities participating at this event are:
Chiusi, Chianciano, Cetona, San Casciano dei Bagni, Sarteano, Torrita of Siena in Tuscany. Castiglion del lago, Orvieto, Citta della Pieve, Monteleone d'Orvieto, Montegabbione, Fabro, Ficulle, Parrano and Porano in Umbria.

 

Venezia in Musica

The churches and squares of this beautiful lagoon town reflect the musical tradition of many centuries. They are witnesses of a very advanced culture of singing and making music in one of the most beautiful and picturesque places of the world.

 

Musica sacra a Roma

Come and join us in setting a sign for ecumenism and the unification of all nations in the world. International choirs and ensembles of all religions and cultures are invited to testify to the wealth and the diversity of sacred music from various traditions throughout the centuries.
Musica Sacra a Roma brings together lay choirs with world stars in music as well as with an international renowned jury in choir competitions, all in Rome‘s most beautiful and important churches. Experience the eternal city! Feel the magic of the famous masterpieces of architecture, sculpture and painting, the St Peter‘s Basilica and the Vatican Museums. Come under their spell, join in and enjoy exceptional music in this exceptional setting.

The event is organized with a local Choir association in Rome and in cooperation with MUNICIPIO I - ROMA CENTRO STORICO.
Offers a programme of polyphonic sacred music concerts that will take place in the most beautiful Churches and Basilicas in Rome.

The event is organized with a Tuscany Choir association, in cooperation with the City of Lucca, Pisa and Pescia. The aim of the Festival is to offer at all the Choir a unique experience in Italy, with the chance to play in magnificent venues and to participate in an intense experience and full immersion
of classical and contemporary
music. We give also the possibility to have a Concert with Italian Choir.
Venues: Lucca, Pisa, Pescia, Borgo a Mozzano, Versilia Coast.

The event is organized with
a Tuscany Music association,
in cooperation with the City of Lucca and Pisa.
The aim of the Festival is to offer young World musicians a unique experience in Italy, with the chance to play in magnificent venues and to participate in an intense experience and full immersion of classical and contemporary music.
Venues: Lucca, Pisa, Borgo a Mozzano, Versilia Coast.

 

INTERNATIONAL
MUSIC MEETING

(For Choir and Orchestra)
Started in the year 1990

From 1st week of April
to last week of May

 

The event is organized every year with a Venetian Music association, and under the Patronage of the "Accademia Internazionale della Cultura e delle Arti" - AICA (International Academy of Culture and Arts), which is a musical and cultural meeting with foreign Choirs, Orchestras and musicians coming from every part of the world.
During the International Music Meeting the we organizes concerts for every foreign Orchestra or Choir and then organizes for them the visit to places of interest and meetings with the Mayors of the towns.
In cooperation with the City of Venice, Padova and Veneto Region. Venues; Venice - Padua - Verona

   

 

RULES OF PARTICIPATION


Art.1 - Aims of the Festival

The festival aims at promoting the vast heritage of Italian and foreign sacred music through vocal and/or instrumental concerts that will take place in renowned churches and basilicas with no charge for admission. Therefore, it will not be possible to grant compensation and/or repayment of expenses to participants; no grading for merit is to be expected, as only a plate and a certificate of participation in the Music Festival will
be awarded.

Art.2 - Groups
a) Participation in the International Music Festival is reserved for male, female and mixed choral groups, youthful and treble voices, amateur and/or professional choruses and /or professional orchestras.
b) The same chorus will be allowed to appear in different groups and with different conductors, too.

Art.3 - Repertoires
The Committee may, therefore, ask prospective participants to change the selections proposed if they are not in keeping with the cultural features of the Festival and the sacredness of the place where the event is to be held.

Art.4 - Subscription
For the subscription we need

  • a biography of the chorus and its director;
  • a list of the selections to be performed;

the following information must be provided for each musical excerpt:
a) the composer’s and/or transcriber’s name, surname, place and date of birth, and, if necessary, date of death;
b) an Italian translation of the title and text of the selection (no Latin translation is required);
c) the overall duration of the musical piece;
d) the possible use of any particular typical instruments or rhytmical movements expressing the authentic tradition of a specific geographic area (it will be possible to wear traditional costumes).
