Enological and Gastronomical tour of Piedmont

Day 1
Arrival at Milan airport. Transfer to Stresa, beautiful town
on Lake Maggiore. Accomodation in a hotel. Lunch at the hotel. Departure by
privat boat to the Borromee island, Isola bella, Isola Madre. Isola pescatori.
Dinner at a typical restaurant. Return to the hotel.
Day 2
Breakfast. Departure by coach to Gorgonzola cheese, ricefields,
Ghemme and Gattinara wine areas, and to a dairy. Gorgonzola based lunch in a
typical restaurant in Momo (Novara). Departure for Monferrato. Accomodation
in a hotel in Asti or surroundings. Dinner in a local restaurant. Return to
the hotel.
Day 3
Breakfast. Departure by coach for a tour of Monferrato area
through Moscato and Barbera vineyards, visit to a wine-cellar and wine degustation.
Guided tour of Asti. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternon, departure
by coach for Langhe area, its famous red wines and white truffles. Demonstration
with truffle hunting dogs, during truffle season, visit of Barolo area, of Barolo
castle and its important wine-cellar. Wine degustation. Guided tour of the city
of Alba. Dinner in a local restaurant. Return and overnight stay.
Day 4
Breakfast. Departure and visit to the Hunting Lodge of Stupinigi,
one of the most beautiful summer residences of the Savoy monarchs. Return to
Turin and on choice free tours. Finish of our services.
